# Redesign pages and sections

> Use Miles to improve existing pages without losing important content.

Redesign work should preserve what matters and improve what is weak.

On an existing site, redesign usually works best as a draft or focused section change. That gives you a reviewable version without replacing the current page too early.

## Page redesigns

Be clear about the scope:

Keep the team bios, company history, and current page unchanged.

## Section redesigns

Use section redesigns for focused improvements:

Replace the pricing section with three clearer packages.

Add a stronger booking CTA.

When replacing a section, name the page and the section. If the old section should stay somewhere else, say that too.

## What to preserve

Tell Miles what must stay:

* facts
* page URL
* calls to action
* testimonials
* products or services
* legal or compliance copy
* SEO-critical headings

## Review the replacement

Check that the old section was removed when appropriate, the new section fits the site, and important content was not lost. Also check navigation, links, mobile layout, and any SEO-critical headings that changed.
