# In a design sandbox

> Open a Miles design sandbox and get ready to start a new design.

A Miles design sandbox is the simplest place to start a new site or explore a new direction. It is separate from any WordPress site you already manage.

## Before you start

You need a Miles account and a supported web browser. You do not need a WordPress site or the Miles plugin.

## Open a design sandbox

1. Go to [app.bymiles.ai](https://app.bymiles.ai) and sign in.
2. Choose **New Site**.

You are ready when Miles asks you to describe the site you want to create. From there, you can give Miles a prompt, answer its questions, and begin a new design.
