# What can Miles do?

> Create a new WordPress site with Miles, then keep improving it.

Miles is an AI agent built specifically for WordPress. It has excellent design abilities and can help you imagine, build, edit, and configure WordPress sites. In WordPress, it works with blocks, pages, posts, themes, plugins, and structured content such as custom post types and custom fields.

Here is what Miles is good at today.

## Build new sites

Miles can start from a short prompt, a detailed brief, your existing assets, or a few sites you like. It explores design directions with you, then builds a complete static homepage design for a marketing site, landing page, portfolio, or small business site.

When you approve the design and choose **Start editing**, Miles converts it into an editable WordPress homepage and block-theme foundation. Other pages and unfinished functionality remain in the Site Plan.

## Edit existing sites

If you connect a development or staging WordPress site, Miles can look at what is already there and help improve it. It can create pages, redesign sections, rewrite copy, adjust visuals, and make the site feel more polished.

Use this when a site already exists but needs clearer pages, stronger sections, better design, or a better starting point for new content. For self-hosted sites, keep regular backups before making changes.

## Work with real WordPress structure

After conversion, or when working with an existing WordPress site, Miles can create pages, drafts, reusable patterns, media, theme styles, and other supported WordPress content. It can also create a standard custom content type with simple custom fields when Advanced Custom Fields is already active, and work with supported fields, categories, and tags on existing custom content. The design stage before conversion is static.

## Help with functionality

Miles can help with common site needs such as forms, custom content, and store or catalog foundations. The automated **Make Real** flow currently supports contact and inquiry forms. Advanced field types, relationships between content, bookings, memberships, payments, advanced commerce, and custom integrations need separate setup and review.

## Keep work reviewable

As Miles works, it keeps a Site Plan and gives you a summary of what changed. For bigger or riskier changes, it asks before moving ahead so you can stay in control.
